Business Growth Club launch night success.

Winners 'Best Small Company 2013'

The 20th September saw the second meeting of the Business Growth Club and again it was a phenomenal success.

The purpose of the event is to bring together business owners and business service providers three times a year in a relaxed, non-sales orientated, networking environment to get valuable business advice. Later this year we will be launching smaller groups where attendees can sit around a table to focus on a particular area of business to discuss.

The majority of the attendees were business owners who are not regular ‘networkers’ and the feedback we had from them was reassuring, as they achieved exactly what we had been looking for when we set about creating this event:

Relaxed networking

Gaining valuable, free initial advice

Meeting with their peers and sharing experiences

In addition to that attendees enjoyed the atmosphere (and canapés) at Christians Café, Leeds Road.

Following the success of the launch night, we can confirm the next dates is:

20 September 2017 – 5pm Christians Café

Please see the Business Growth Club page for details of how to book the next event.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Fancy a bit of Netwalking?

No, it's not a spelling mistake! Following Teresa's successful series of CCF’s Bike Rides, Michael thought that he would try networking and walking – or “Netwalking”

The group met outside our offices on Victoria Avenue at 8.30 am on Thursday, 10th August and luckily it was a glorious sunny summer morning!

For our first event, the route took them across part of the Stray and looped through the Valley Gardens, We taking around 2 hours including taking in refreshments towards the end of the work

Following the success of this walk, we plan to do another on 20th October. If you would like to join us, see our events page.
